1. Is a yoga mat included in the YOGA Tote?

No, we don't include a yoga mat in these BelaBags. it's because when we first designed it, we did in fact permanently attached a yoga mat onto the bag base itself. However, we soon realised that most people prefer using their own mats. They have different preferences for the type of material (rubber or PVC/PU), thickness (4 mm to 10 mm), length, and many other variations. So we thought it best to leave it flexible and open to the user to select their mat preference. this also allows easier shipping of the product.

Should you want a yoga mat included, we can arrange that, since we get wholesale pricing, so just contact us should you want that.

 

2. Will my yoga mat fit into the bag?

The standard yoga mat size measures 68 inches in length and 24 inches in width (173 x 61 cm), a dimension designed to accommodate an average-sized individual comfortably. However, not all yogis are the same, and neither are their needs. The Manduka which is popular with many yoga teachers starts at 180 cm x 61 cm.

Thicker mats maybe accommodated using an EXTENDER accessory - please contact us before ordering.

But If your yoga mat is even thicker, longer or wider, don't worry, message us and we can send you a customised one to fit your favourite mat.

 

4. What is a Mat Cover and why do you include that in all the BelaBag YOGA's?

Because of it's construction, a BelaBag cannot be washed. However, a yoga mat will get dirty after use - especially after a sweaty yoga class - so we've added a separate polyester or linen cover to protect the mat and keep the dirt in until it can be washed. The Mat Cover itself is washable in a washing machine. 

5. Do you have to unpack your whole bag to use the yoga mat?

We includ inner bgs - Kitbags, GoBags, Messenger bags or Organisers (depending on which BelaBag you purchase) - that hold your essentials like clothes, towel, toiletries, a laptop etc. They are designed to be quickly pulled out so your BelaBag can be unfolded easily. 6. Does the Yoga Tote Lux come with a buckle or twist-lock?

Even though some of the photos of the Yoga Tote Lux show a side-press buckle or a twist-lock, the locks are changeable according the stock available.
